UCL Laws Prizewinners ceremony celebrates students’ success

On 6th June, members across the faculty gathered together for the 2023 UCL Laws Prizewinners Ceremony. Staff, students, sponsors, and their guests joined in celebration of the achievements of UCL Laws’ outstanding students in one of the biggest events in the UCL Laws Calendar.

The ceremony was hosted by the Dean of Faculty of Laws, Professor Eloise Scotford. Professor Jane Holder (Director of Research Studies) awarded the research prizes, Sarah Campling (Director of Graduate Taught Programme) awarded the graduate prizes and Karen Scott (Director of Undergraduate Programmes) awarded the undergraduate prizes.

Awards were presented to student as a recognition of academic excellence, covering a variety of legal fields and achievements. Scholarships, awarded on the basis of financial need and/or academic merit, were also recognised in the event. Following the ceremony, the guests attended a drinks reception to celebrate the successes with friends and family.

The prizes were made possible through the generous support of sponsors and benefactors who recognise the excellence of UCL Laws’ students. UCL Laws is extremely grateful to the alumni, legal firms and other organisations for making this event possible through their generosity.
