13 May 2022

The Centre is encouraging people from UCL to join their team on Tuesday 28 June to help fund much-needed frontline free legal advice services.

The London Legal Walk aims to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust. It is the biggest fundraising event in aid of free legal advice and support, including Law Centres, Citizens Advice services and refugee specialist support services.

Two-thirds of the UK population don't know how to access legal advice and 14 million people who live in poverty can't afford to pay for it. The London Legal Walk raises vital funds to ensure that legal help reaches our communities' most vulnerable people.

The team also took part in the challenge last year, raising an impressive £1376.50 for the cause.
