The UCL Centre for Law, Economics and Society together with antitrust law journal Concurrences organised the 1st International Mergers Conference at UCL Laws.
On 19 February 2020, the UCL Centre for Law, Economics and Society together with Concurrences organised the 1st International Mergers Conference at UCL Laws. This highly successful conference brought together distinguished academics, practitioners, judges and policymakers to discuss a number of cutting-edge topics in merger control. From the revival of protectionism and public interest considerations in merger control to the challenges posed by the digital economy, the conference offered a fresh perspective on established doctrines and a stimulating discussion on the procedural and substantive framework governing merger control.
