Professor Sir Robin Jacob gives keynote speech to 2019 AIPPI World conference

Professor Sir Robin Jacob delivered the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2019 AIPPI World Conference.

Professor Sir Robin Jacob, Sir Hugh Laddie Chair of Intellectual Property Law at UCL Laws, gave a keynote speech to the 2,400 delegates at the World Conference of AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) at Central Hall Westminster on 15th September 2019. He spoke about some of the key problems in Intellectual Property law and the major part played by intellectual property lawyers in maintaining strong IP rights.

The AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) is a global NGO for research into the law relating to the protection of intellectual property.

In other activity, Professor Sir Robin Jacob also chaired the first meeting the UK Intellectual Property Office Enforcement Framework Review Working Group which forms part of the commitment the Government made in its enforcement strategy to comprehensively review the IP enforcement framework.
