Professor Hiroshi Oda, Sir Ernest Satow Professor of Japanese Law at UCL Laws, has commented on an article in The Times entitled "Swing low, but not at each other: Foreign Office advice to Rugby World Cup fans", published on 24 October.

The article discusses Japan’s tough approach to criminal offence, in light of the Rugby World Cup 2019 - of which Japan is the host nation.
