Professor Alex Mills gives closing keynote address

Professor Alex Mills, Professor of Public and Private International Law at the UCL Faculty of Laws, gave the closing keynote address at the SLS-BIICL Workshop on Theory in International Law on 15 May 2019. The theme of the workshop was “Spaces beyond Sovereignty: International Law Outside of Territorial Jurisdiction”.

The talk by Professor Mills was entitled “The Geographies of International Law”, and it addressed the ways in which the concepts of international law shape our understanding of space, including in respect of territory, the oceans, outer space and cyberspace.
