Professor Ioannis Lianos quoted in Politico on a potential US Google antitrust investigation

Professor Lianos commented on the potential investigation into Google's compliance with antitrust laws.


Professor Ioannis Lianos, Professor of Global Competition Law and Public Policy at UCL Laws, has been quoted in an article published by Politico entitled 'Europe’s record offers cautions for a U.S. battle with Google'.

Professor Lianos indicated the uphill battle that bringing a case against Google in the US would be in view of the quite demanding standards of proof under US antitrust law for the enforcement of the anti-monopoly provisions of the Sherman Act.
