We are delighted to share that the refurbishment of Bentham House, the historic home of UCL Laws, has been recognised in this year's Education Estates Awards. Bentham House has been shortlisted in the Refurbishment of the Year category, which recognises a school, college or university refurbishment project that has made a difference to educational or research experience.

The 3-year development project has created extra space for teaching, support services, and new social and common areas. Bentham House has also incorporated green features, and in support of UCL’s sustainability agenda, the new building has achieved an ‘Excellent’ certification under BREEAM. The project was also shortlisted in the education category of the New London Awards 2019, which celebrates London's most innovative architectural projects.

The Education Estates Awards Dinner will take place on the 15th October in Manchester, to celebrate excellence and achievement in the education industry.
