Dr Deni Mantzari, Lecturer in Competition Law and Policy at UCL Laws, was invited to train judges from various EU Member States in EU Competition Law as part of the EJTN Administrative Law Project funded by the Justice Programme of the European Union.
The training programme took place in Rome on 8th-9th November, and aimed to provide judges already dealing with competition law cases with a deeper knowledge of the following topics: judicial review of antitrust decisions, the relationship between Competition Law and Sector Specific Regulation, digital economy, competition, innovation and inequalities, public and private antitrust enforcement.
Dr Mantzari’s working group focused on the interaction between competition law and sector-specific regulation in both ‘traditional’ industries and the digital economy.
