Dr Danae Azaria speaks at London International Boundary Conference

At the conference, themed ‘Practical Aspects of International Boundaries and Sovereignty Disputes’ Dr Azaria spoke on a panel on ‘Transboundary Pipelines’ alongside Robert Volterra, Graham Coop and Tim Martin.

Dr Azaria’s talk dealt with the legal challenges surrounding the freedom of states to lay pipelines in areas where other coastal states have overlapping continental shelf claims. The focus of the talk’s analysis was on the duties of coastal states pending the reaching of a final delimitation agreement.
