Professor Anthony Julius portrayed in new film ‘Denial’

Professor Anthony Julius, Chair in Law and the Arts at UCL, is portrayed in historical legal drama Denial, released in UK cinemas today (27 January 2017)
The film, based on the acclaimed book Denial: Holocaust History on Trial, recounts Deborah Lipstadt’s legal battle for historical truth against David Irving, who accused her of libel when she declared him a Holocaust denier.
Deborah Lipstadt’s legal team, in which Professor Julius was lead solicitor, had to prove that the Holocaust occurred.
In Denial Deborah Lipstadt is portrayed by Rachel Weisz, and Professor Julius by Sherlock and James Bond actor Andrew Scott.
