The problem with GCSE resits

Amidst concerns about the rising numbers of English and Maths GCSE resits, former IOE Director Professor Becky Francis says that in an "already stretched post-16 sector", many who resit their exams are unlikely to pass, which could have long-term impacts on their life chances.
