Assessing maths and science performance in England

Dr Mary Richardson and Dr Tina Isaacs wrote the ‘Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2019: National Report for England’, which shows maths performance has improved for year 5 pupils since 2015 but year 9 science results have declined.
