Parents' break-up more likely to harm mental health of children aged seven to 14

Parental separation is more likely to harm children's mental health if children are seven or older when the split occurs, but appears to have no effect if they are younger, finds research by Professor Emla Fitzsimons and Dr Aase Villadsen.
