Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants (MPTA) Licensing

This one and a half day online course allows schools, companies and other organisations to licence one or more trainers to deliver the Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants programme.

Course overview

The content that the organisation will be licensed to deliver is based on the second edition of the acclaimed book, The Teaching Assistant's Guide to Effective Interaction, and it is designed to help Teaching Assistants (TA) and teachers develop pupil engagement and independence.

All materials required for running the Maximising the Practice of Teaching Assistants (MPTA) programme will be provided, together with trainer notes. The course is run by a highly experienced MPTA trainer, and is designed to support trainers to feel confident in delivering the materials effectively.

Who can apply for this course?

The course is suitable for those with experience in delivering professional development in educational settings. Once trained you will be able to deliver the MPTA course content on behalf of your licensed organisation.

Fees and course date

Course fee: £1,295.00 + VAT per person (this includes training, electronic resources and a two year licence).

The course is taking place on 20 and 21 May 2024.
