A live panel of experts will discuss findings from The impact of the ECF programme on the work engagement, wellbeing and retention of teachers longitudinal study. It investigates the in-school conditions which advance the development and retention of teacher mentors on the Early Career Framework (ECF) programme.

The latest report can be found here.

This seminar is an opportunity to learn about the latest research insights and recommendations designed to inform the work of school leaders wishing to retain their current ECF mentors and teachers and to respond to the much broader challenge of school improvement.

There will also be an opportunity for attendees to share their views and discuss the big questions regarding transforming the support for teacher learning and retention.

Panellists

  • Chair: Dr Deborah Outhwaite (BELMAS Chair)
  • Professor Caroline Daly, Professor of Teacher Education, UCL IOE
  • Dr Vanessa Ogden CBE, CEO of Mulberry Schools Trust
