Digital Arts Research in Education

A collaboration to develop cross-arts research projects, partnerships with cultural organisations and to advise on Arts and Education policy.

Digital Arts Research in Education (DARE) Collaborative is a research partnership focused on the digital arts in education. Our membership is drawn from IOE and cultural organisations with an interest in arts, culture and new literacies in the context of education and digital media. Cultural partners include the British Film Institute (BFI), The Tate and more.

What we offer

The general remit of our centre is to:

  • promote conversations between researchers, children, educators, cultural institutions and the creative industries
  • develop cross-arts research projects
  • build partnerships with museums, galleries, concert and film venues, schools and companies
  • advise on Arts and Education policy.
Our staff

Our staff is from the Department of Culture, Curriculum and Media based at the London Knowledge Lab, and from Music, Arts, Museology, English and Drama.
