Supporting students in education studies.
Director: Dr David Mallows
Our centre provides support for IOE students in the form of workshops, webinars, one-to-one tutorials, writing retreats and online resources. Our sessions and resources are specifically designed to support academic writing in Education and related disciplines.
We support both home and international students, and also offer pre-sessional support to students who have yet to commence their study at the Institute.
“The Academic Writing Centre made a huge difference to my experience studying at the IOE. Their classes really helped me develop my writing and I improved my ability to understand and critique my reading. I feel like I got more out of it as a result. They were one of the best parts of my whole MA. - Nina, Early Years Education MA
