Dr Gloria Wong, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong.

Gloria is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Director of Training of the CST-HK programme. She co-leads a UCL-HKU partnership in innovations in non-pharmacological interventions for dementia with Professor Aimee Spector. She currently works with CST Trainers in Hong Kong accredited by the International CST Centre to provide Certified CST Practitioners training for professionals in Hong Kong and nearby regions.

Vivien CHAN Sze Ming, Christian Family Service Centre, Hong Kong  

Vivien CHAN Sze Ming image
Vivien is a Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong working on elderly care and specialized dementia care services at Christian Family Service Centre - Mind Delight Memory & Cognitive Training Centre.   She provides non-pharmacological interventions for people with dementia as well as helping their families and carers. She is a Certified CST-HK trainer providing CST Practitioners training to the infielders.

Brian CHUNG, Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association, Hong Kong

Brian is a physiotherapist who is serving older adults in Long Term Care Facilities at the Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association in Hong Kong.  He is one of the CST Trainers in Hong Kong accredited by the International CST Centre, and currently working with Dr. Gloria Wong and her colleagues at the University of Hong Kong to provide CST training in Hong Kong.

HON Yuk Lan, Kwai Chung Hospital, Hong Kong

Yuk Lan is a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse of the Department of Psychogeriatric Team at Kwai Chung Hospital. Currently, she strives to promote CST in Hong Kong by actively running CST groups in the community. Also, her team has special interest to develop and promote evidence-based non-pharmacological intervention for elderly with cognitive impairment.

Dr Flora KO, Former Department Manager of the Occupational Therapy Department, North District Hospital, Hong Kong   

Flora Ko image
Flora is an occupational therapist with extensive experience in working with people with mental health problems and dementia.  She is a certified wellness and life coach, clinical hypnotherapist, cognitive behavioural therapist and professional in healthcare quality.  She is also a Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Health Service Executives and the Australasian College of Health Service Management.  Besides management and clinical services, she also teaches occupational therapy and health care management subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and conducts executive training for health care professionals.  She is a CST trainer and is currently working with the Hong Kong University Sau Po Centre on Ageing and the Department of Social Work and Social Administration in providing Certified CST Practitioner’s Training for professionals in Hong Kong and the nearby regions.

Becky LAM Pik Ying, Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association, Hong Kong

Becky is a social worker at the district elderly community center of Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association. She is mainly working with people with dementia in the community, including running CST groups and having support to the caregivers. As one of the Certified CST Trainers in Hong Kong, she currently works with Dr. Gloria Wong and her team at the University of Hong Kong to provide Certified CST Practitioners training locally.

Stephenie MAN, Christian Family Service Centre, Hong Kong   

Stephenie Man
Stephenie is a registered Occupational Therapist currently working in Mind Delight memory and cognitive training centre under Christian Family Service Centre, mainly serving people with dementia. She supports the concept of ageing in place and dedicates herself in community and home-based elderly service. She obtained a master degree specialized in health service management in Australia and had delivered various education programme on dementia care / home safety to elderly, caregiver and the public. Recently she involved in the development of Mind Delight CST game set and became one of the instructors of certified CST practitioner course in Hong Kong.

Clifton SO, North District Hospital, Hong Kong

Clifton So image
Clifton is Occupational Therapist I in Occupational Therapy Department of North District Hospital in Hong Kong. He has wide spectrum of clinical experience in providing occupational therapy for patients with orthopaedics, general medicine and mental health problems. Clifton actively participates in development of treatment Programmes for older people with Major Neurocognitive Disorder. Ben is an occupational therapist working in North District Hospital of Hospital Authority. He works in psychogeriatric field and provides service for elders with psychiatric condition, including dementia. He is actively running CST group as one of the non-pharmacological interventions. Gloria WONG Ka Man, Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service, Hong Kong

Gloria is an occupational therapist working with elderly persons with Dementia. She advocates a “strength-based approach” and hopes to bring out the best in the person behind dementia. She has experience in conducting CST and iCST in various settings. Gloria completed the CST-Hong Kong: training of trainer’s course in September 2018 and is a certified practitioner in Dementiability Methods: The Montessori Way™. Through the application of different non-pharmacological interventions and strategies, she believes it can Make A Difference to the elderly and the caregivers, supporting them to embark on a journey with meaning and love.

Winsy WONG, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Winsy Wong image
Winsy is a speech therapist practicing in Hong Kong, China. She works with people with communication disorders resulted from neurological conditions such as stroke and dementia. She is also a part-time clinical supervisor at the Division of Speech & Hearing Sciences, the University of Hong Kong. As a PhD candidate, her research interests include cognitive communication disorders and aphasiology, exploration on approaches to rehabilitation, as well as factors associated with treatment outcomes.

TONG Choi Ying, Christian Family Service Centre, Hong Kong

Tong is the Programme Director of Christian Family Service Centre (Elderly care) supervising elderly care service for more than 10 years. She has set-up the Mind Delight Memory and Cognitive Training Centre in Hong Kong which provides specialised services for people with dementia since 2010. Her centre currently collaborates with Dr. Gloria Wong of The University of Hong Kong to provide Certified CST Practitioner Training for care professionals in Hong Kong. She also initiated home-based intervention for people with dementia in her centre since 2010 and developed online intervention during the period of COVID-19 pandemic.

Chris YUEN, North District Hospital, Hong Kong

Chris Yuen image
Chris is an experienced Occupational Therapist at North District Hospital (NDH) in Hong Kong who has been devoting to dementia care for more than twenty years. He obtained his first MSc in Training and Performance Management from the Leicester University in 2005. Discovering his interest in dementia and stroke, he further equipped himself an MSc in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010 and CST trainer certificate in 2018. To enhance Occupational Therapy service for the dementia, Chris established a structured CST program with his colleagues in NDH and conducts related studies continuously.

Anna ZHANG Yan, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong 

Anna ZHANG Yan image
Anna is trained as a registered social worker, certificated dementia care planner and accredited assessor of the standardized care need assessment mechanism for elderly services under the Social Welfare Department (HKSAR). She has frontline experience of working with people with dementia. Now, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Department of Social Work and Social Administration in HKU. Her research interests are dementia care, mental health, and long-term care. She is doing the research to investigate the mechanism of optimizing the CST’s effect and provides CST training in HK, Macau and Mainland China.
