DEMCARES (Dementia Care in SCARF) is based in Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF), a WHO collaborative centre for mental health training in Chennai, India. It is a not-for-profit NGO. We provide clinical services including assessments and clinical management for persons with dementia. We run a day-hospital for dementia and are setting up a day-centre for dementia.

CST Adaptation & Translation

The adaptation and translation of the CST and MCST manuals is currently underway in our centre. We are conducting a feasibility study of using these adapted and translated versions of the CST and MCST manuals.
