Rhianna Ilube

Rhianna Ilube is a playwright, game-maker and facilitator from London. She is Associate Director at Coney, a charity making all kinds of play to spark change. At Coney she focuses her practice on developing 'playful histories' - creating playful ways to make heritage sites and complex histories accessible and fun for a range of audiences. She loves to spread the joys of game-design and has co-created games and interactive experiences with investigative journalists, care workers, hairdressers, youth activists, PhD students, junior doctors and many more. Her short plays have been performed at the Royal Court, Omnibus Theatre and Oxford Playhouse. Her debut play, which explores the dynamics of Ghana's slavery tourism industrywas shortlisted for the Women's Prize for Playwriting in 2021.
