This fair is aimed at new PhD students and Early Career researchers but we welcome any UCL staff or students who wish to learn more about the many centres and networks that the IAS supports and coordinates.

Schedule

2-3pm: Brief presentations from directors of geographical or 'area studies' related centres and networks:

  • Centre for Outer Space Studies (COSS)
  • Centre for French and Francophone Research (CFFR)
  • Centre for the Study of South Asia and the Indian Ocean World (CSSA)
  • Migration Research Unit (MRU) / Refuge in a Moving World (RiMW)
  • Middle East Research Centre (MERC)
  • Postsocialist Art Centre (PACT)

3-3:30pm: Networking and refreshments. Your chance to talk to centre directors, meet others working in your field of research and sign up to our networks

3:30-5pm: Brief presentations from directors of centres and networks based around a theme or subject area

  • ARIEL, Centre for Creative Practice Research
  • Centre for Capitalism Studies (CCS)
  • Early Modern Exchanges (EME)
  • Digital Humanities (UCLDH)
  • Gender and Feminism Research Network (GFRN)
