Join writer and activist Abdel Amine Mohammed and film-makers Gregor Kasper and Musquiqui Chihying for a screening and discussion of this documentary with a difference. We'll explore the history behind their recent film Café Togo, today's views of a violent, often neglected past, and innovative, multidimensional aesthetics of memory.
Presented by the research project 'Violence Elsewhere: Imagining Violence Outside Germany since 1945', at the School of European Lanagues, Cultures and Society (SELCS), UCL, and the Centre for Women's Studies (CWS), University of York. All welcome.
