The Institute of Advanced Studies is very pleased to host the final seminar in this series organised by the Centre for the Study of South Asia and the Indian Ocean World, part of its Area Studies Re-mapped theme.
Dr Jagjeet Lally, co-founder of the Centre and Lecturer in the Department of History, will be talking to the title of The Great Game and…British Burma? From Anglo-Russian Rivalry to the Imperial Security State.
