The Institute of Advanced Studies is very pleased to host another in this series of seminars organised by the Centre for the Study of South Asia and the Indian Ocean World, part of its Area Studies Re-mapped theme.
Professor Marie Lall (Institute of Education) will be talking about her recent research on Schooling and Conflict - Ethnic education and mother tongue-based teaching in Myanmar. Her talk follows the publication of a report on this project by The Asia Foundation.
