Applications are invited to the £800 Hester Rothschild Scholarship 2023.
Applications are invited to the £800 Hester Rothschild Scholarship 2023. Established in 1908 by Madame Halfon in commemoration of her mother, Hester Rothschild.
Applicants are invited to submit a one-page proposal (1,5 spaced, 11 point) for their planned research intended to lead to a MA dissertation for submission in the academic year 2023/24 (2024/25 for part-time students) or to a MPhil/PhD project to start in the academic year 2022/23. Applicants may add one page for references and a bibliography, and a one-page CV.
Applicants need to have applied to the MA Jewish Studies at the UCL Department of Hebrew and Jewish Studies by the deadline of the scholarship (30 June 2023).
The Award Committee of the UCL Department for Hebrew and Jewish Studies will assess submissions for their scholarly potential alone. The Scholarship will be awarded by the UCL Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
