Policy Research Unit in Reproductive Health

The Policy Research Unit in Reproductive Health is a £3 million research investment over 3 years. Launched in 2024, it will provide high-quality research evidence to inform policymakers to make evidence-based decisions about reproductive health and healthcare in England.

Reproductive health concerns physical, mental and social well-being relating to the reproductive system, including a safe and satisfying sex life and reproductive rights.

This Policy Research Unit in Reproductive Health focuses on addressing health inequalities and working in a co-produced way with people the work impacts.

It will cover all aspects of the reproductive lifecourse, including menopause, contraception, infertility and urogynaecology.
