About
What is reproductive health?
Reproductive health concerns physical, mental and social well-being relating to the reproductive system, including a safe and satisfying sex life and reproductive rights.
Aim
Our vision is to improve reproductive health and wellbeing and reduce reproductive health inequalities in England.
Objectives
- To carry out research to help policymakers make decisions about reproductive healthcare which are based on the best available evidence; and
- To produce clear evidence on effective and cost-effective health service innovations that meet patients’ and policy-makers' needs.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are central to the way the collaboration works and to the work itself, including our focus on inequalities and research gaps. Our work will focus on multiple disadvantages, including gender, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, and socioeconomic status. This is enabled by our commitment to engagement with and involvement of diverse stakeholders throughout the research and policy cycle and integration of reproductive rights as a cross-cutting concern.
