Palaeolimnology of lakes in the Wood Buffalo Region, Canada

This project funded by the NOx SOx Management Working Group (NSMWG) of the Cumulative Environmental Management Association (CEMA), Edmonton, Canada, involved the collection and analysis of surface, bottom and full core lake sediment samples from lakes in Alberta to assess the impact from acidification as a result of Oil Sands development in the region. The facility provided the sediment core chronologies.
