Visiting student receives Voya Kondic prize

Many congratulations to Dušica Zaova, who has been awarded The Voya Kondic Memorial Prize from the British Scholarship Trust (BST) program.

Dušica is based at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje-North Macedonia.

In May 2022 she visited the ECRC and the Department of Geography through a scholarship obtained from the British Scholarship Trust (BST).

This is an annual award given to the student who has made the best of their study visit funding by the BST.

The award will be additional motivation for future collaboration between our institutions, and already Dušica and Emeritus Professor Anson Mackay are working on a joint paper from her stay in the Department.
