Home building in Cameroon

Dr Ben Page (UCL Geography) was invited by the Paradigm Network to participate in their takeover of the RIBA Instagram feed as part of Black History Month.

The PARADIGM Network is a group of architects who are passionate about increasing Black and Asian representation within the construction industry.

Ben talked about his research with architects and home-builders in Buea, Cameroon, where he is examining the role of international migration in house-building activities by members of the African diaspora and the associated creation of a new African middle class.
