Bullying, Harassment and Sexual Misconduct

Bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct have no place at UCL. We're working with our community to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

UCL has a university-wide campaign to combat bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct, accompanied by a new online tool to give you support in finding an advisor and help you report incidents anonymously.

Support and Report

The University has very clear statements on Dignity and Work. You can find details of UCL's prevention of bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct policies on the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) site. You'll also find the procedure in place to launch a formal complaint.

For more information, visit the Conduct section of the UCL Student Policies pages.

Students

Should you endure or observe sexual harassment we recommend you contact your personal tutor or a member of staff you trust, the student mediator, Ruth Siddall, the vice warden or warden of the halls of residences (if you are staying in one) or either the UCLU Women’s Officer of Welfare and International Officer if the incident occurred at a UCLU event.

You can request to speak with an advisor on Report + Support. An advisor can talk you through the University's procedures, inform you on how to make a complaint and let you know what support is available, in confidence.
