Edited by Nanna Bonde Thylstrup, Daniela Agostinho, Annie Ring, Catherine D'Ignazio and Kristin Veel.

The book makes the case for applying cultural theoretical ideas to thinking about big data and the so-called 'digital' more broadly, at a time when the science is racing ahead in the areas of data analytics and AI. The volume features 68 authors, many of whom are women or gender-diverse and scholars of colour, including Louise Amoore, Wendy Hui Kyong Chun, N. Katherine Hayles, Lisa Nakamura, Safiya Noble and Luciana Parisi.
