MSc cohort launched

29 January 2018

MSc students will have the opportunity to work with local community groups on collaborative thesis projects

This year, the EngEx is working with a number of community groups to develop student thesis projects, in collaboration with MSc programmes across UCL’s faculties of Engineering, the Built Environment and Geography. This will give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in working with communities on applied, participatory projects that match community needs.

Project topics being considered include ecosystem services, the circular economy, cycling to promote wellbeing, air quality, green infrastructure, transport modelling, tree canopy mapping and others.

Participating MSc students will participate in our CPD training in the spring, undertake project work over the summer, and will have the opportunity to present their work as part of a showcase event in September (stay tuned for information on how to book your free place at the event).
