Green Infrastructure Community Research Forum

1 March 2017

A follow-up event to the community research forum series, aiming to catalyse new projects focussed on green infrastructure in London

The UCL Engineering Exchange and the London Sustainability Exchange (LSx) co-hosted an event exploring new ideas for Green Infrastructure, as part of the NERC-funded project 'community partnerships for green infrastructure in London' (read more).

In collaboration with London-based community groups and green infrastructure specialists, the event looked at innovative ways of utilizing natural solutions to tackle urban challenges, from the Urban Heat Island Effect to Health and Wellbeing, Sustainable Urban Drainage, access to green spaces or air pollution.

The event followed a different format to previous community research forum events, with more focussed work taking place with researchers and community groups to develop project ideas in advance of the event.

You can watch video interviews with green infrastructure specialists on the EngEx YouTube channel.
