Fieldwork at Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire, 2017
26 January 2017
The Great Bedwyn Research Project is a new initiative that aims to explore the rich archaeology of Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire. Two weeks of test-pitting are planned for July 2017, involving staff and students of UCL Institute of Archaeology, Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society Field Group, and Wessex Archaeology. Members of the public are also invited!
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from the people
of Bedwyn. If you would like to have a small (or even large!) hole dug in your
garden - and we very much encourage you to dig your own with our help as part
of our project - then please do get in touch to let us know.
