ICOS 2017 and 68th International Sachsensymposion

A busy conference season sees members of the 'Travel and Communication in Anglo-Saxon England' team attending ICOS 2017 in Debrecen, Hungary and the 68th International Sachsensymposion in Canterbury. Eleanor Rye will be presenting at ICOS a paper entitled 'Personal names in the names of early medieval crossing places'. Stuart Brookes and Eleanor will present a paper at the International Sachsensymposion entitled 'By land and by sea: modelling the transport infrastructure of Anglo-Saxon Kent'.
