Conquest: 1016, 1066

A major conference to mark the 950th anniversary of the Norman Conquest and 1000th anniversary of Danish conquest will take place at the Ioannou Centre, 66 St Giles', Oxford, 21-24 July 2016.

Speakers include Early Medieval Atlas members:

• Tom Williams, 'The place of battle - a multi-disciplinary approach'
