UCL Drama Society Reclamation

UCL Drama Society's BAME showcase, Reclamation, is back!

This showcase is a celebration and spotlighting of the experiences and perspectives of people of colour. It comprises of eight short plays, spoken word pieces and monologues, all guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and rage (not at the same time). Eight of these are self-written, and all are produced, directed, and performed exclusively by people of colour:

Empty Pockets - Red Frederick (25, 26, 29 October)

Tomar Hat - Nabilah Delowar (25, 26 October)
Trigger warnings: Mentions of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and racism. Includes strong language.

The Perfect Specimen - Germaine Leung (25, 26, 29 October)
Trigger warnings: Implications of sexual violence and colonial violence. Includes strong language.

Spectacle - Müge Karan (25, 29 October)

The Long Goodbye - Jai Britto & Anezka Khan (25 October)
Trigger warnings: Implications of race-based violence.
