Working with performance poet Chris Redmond and freshwater scientist Helen Greaves, this introductory workshop will introduce the science behind the declining UK farmland pond and their extraordinary biodiversity and offer creative routes in to engaging with these ideas through poetry.

You will leave the session with your very own pond poem, and fresh perspectives about the importance of ponds in the context of climate change and nature recovery.

This event is part of Performing Planet Activism, a series of interactions, performances and dialogues at UCL that bring together artists, activists, researchers and communities engaged in climate activism.
