Not Just Words: Learn More about... Faroese

Are you learning or thinking of learning one (or more!) of the languages featured in the UCL Art Museum showcase Not Just Words: Learning languages through art and objects? Would you like to practise with our language tutors and fellow learners?
Come along to our Wednesday lunchtime events and learn more about the different languages featured in the showcase and offered at UCL.
In this session, come and learn more about Faroese language and the Faroe Islands with Bjarni Steintún (Scientific Assistant, Faculty of Faroese Language and Literature at the University of the Faroe Islands). The taster will be in hybrid form as Bjarni will be joining us live on Zoom directly from the Faroe Islands.
On the same day we will also be launching Bjarni’s contribution to the Not Just Words showcase.
Drop into the Museum from 1pm and feel free to try Faroese, get chatting and ask questions.
