11am - 2pm: Free drop-in for all family visitors. Booking not required.
Every object tells a story. From delicate papyrus and stone inscriptions to beautiful jewellery and ancient mummy cases, everything has something to say.
Explore a collection of more than 80,000 objects from Egypt and Sudan and make your own label on a speech bubble balloon for your favourite object.
Take inspiration from 'He Tells Tales of Meroe' by Sudanese poet Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi and give your object a voice in this workshop led by Orly Orbach.
This workshop is suitable for ages 6+ but young children will need adult help. We will have colouring sheets available for younger children.
