Family Event: Dr. You's Case Notes - The Opossum & The Battery

The Grant Museum of Zoology invite you to join an interactive adventure around the museum as part of Dr You’s research team.

Meet Research Assistant, Alex Vector who needs help to complete Dr You’s case notes. Unravelled through a series of stories, tasks, play, and creative thinking, Alex invites you on an interactive adventure around the Grant Museum as part of Dr You’s research team.

Choose to explore individually, as a team, or with Alex! Asking staff and volunteers questions about exhibits is encouraged - as is coming up with your own theories…including how did the battery found in the opossum stomach get there?!

‘Dr You’s Case Notes’ is a series of storytelling events developed by Moulded Theatre Company for the Grant Museum of Zoology.

This workshop is part of UCL Museums & Cultural Programmes 2023-24 event series Architecting Futures from Past Traces, bringing together art, culture and research.

Audience

This is an intergenerational workshop, suitable for all ages and abilities. Everyone is welcome.

Booking

This event comprises two sessions:

• Bookable session from 13:00-13:40, please reserve yourself a space by booking one ticket per family group on our Eventbrite page (tickets live on 24th May 12 noon).
• Drop-in session from 14:00-16:00 where booking is not required.

The Museum is located in Bloomsbury, in the heart of central London. The nearest tube stations are Euston Square (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City), Goodge Street (Northern Line), Warren Street (Victoria Line), and buses 18, 30, 73, 134 and 205 stop 3-5 minutes away on Euston Road.
