UCL Special Collections invites you to an exclusive curator tour of the UCL Octagon Gallery's latest exhibition, 'Generation UCL: 200 Years of Student Life in London'.

In anticipation of UCL’s bicentenary in 2026, this exhibition explores two centuries of university life, placing students at the heart of the institution's history. On display are items from UCL Special Collections, Students' Union UCL and UCL Museums, each of which sheds light on an aspect of UCL student life. During this tour, you'll get a chance to discover more about the objects on display and the stories that they can tell from one of the exhibition curators. Learn about Students' Union UCL, - now one of the largest student-led organisations in the world - national and international student activism, and hear from former students about their time at UCL via oral history interviews with alumni and extracts from memoirs voiced by actors.
