The Big Pitch: An advertising comedy night
Welcome to the Big Pitch. Set inside a fictional ad agency you are the client and today is pitch day. Time to have a biscuit and get judging. Unfortunately, the creative team have gone AWOL (after a heavy session at Cannes) the account team have no choice but to employ the cheapest freelance creatives available, stand-up comedians.
Will one idea land? Does it meet your brand guidelines? Will you decide to combine all the routes?
Pitching to you alongside the account team – [Client Director Adam Larter, Creative Director Ellen Turnill Montoya and Junior Intern Joz Norris] are the creative team of:
John Kearns - Star of Taskmaster and Guessable, winner of Best Show at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and best known as Peter Pan in the Weirdos Comedy production of Hook.
Harriet Kemsley - Star of Live at the Apollo, 8 out of 10 cats and 1 of 2 acts on this line-up who studied at Kingston University.
Bilal Zafar - Its only the boss, the gaffer, banana boy – Stand up star of many a comedy festival and supreme owner of PES United.
Bec Hill - Comedian and author, star of Jonathon Ross’s Comedy Club, Make-away takeaway and she likely made that tweet/video/comic you shared online.
Eleanor Morton - Character comedian Eleanor Morton got famous over lockdown for her acutely observed silly videos, she is also a great cat sitter if you need one.
Mark Silcox - Star of Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back & the Russell Howard Hour.
