The art of creative collaboration

Workshop
 |
27th Sep 2023
18:00
Bloomsbury Studio

The event is aimed at UCL academic and research staff, but all staff and students are welcome to attend
  • How do cross-sector creative and academic collaborations work?
  • How can the creative arts be used as a public engagement tool for research?
  • How can research inspire art?

Join UCL Museums & Cultural Programmes to learn about methodologies for linking research, the creative arts, and local communities; and how UCL can help you make this work possible.

The event will feature case studies from the Performing Planet Activism programme, including a premiere screening (15 mins) of The Work of Many Hands (Heloise Tunstall-Behrens, Composer and Ilan Kelman, Institute of Risk and Disaster Management), a three-act musical composition that imagines a more hopeful Earth future, interweaving perspectives from across deep time and deep space.

The event is aimed at UCL academic and research staff, but all staff and students are welcome to attend.
