Aphasia New Music Group

The Aphasia New Music Group is a collaboration between people with language difficulties acquired after brain injury, family members, professional musicians and producers, and speech and language therapists.

The group has worked together for six months. We will share the music we have made together and talk about the experience. Our only rule has been that our music has to be new, so everything you hear will be a world premiere!

The project has developed our understanding of the impact of creative group work on the communication skills, social networks, quality of life and well-being of people living with aphasia. We also hope it is enjoyable and inspiring to others.

Profits from ticket sales will be given to charities supporting people with aphasia.
