Combining real-time projected images and performance, Lisa Gornick Regrets is a combination of off-the-cuff comedy, storytelling and drawing. An academic and artistic comedy investigation into choice and its chaos. Lisa's work delved into the research done by academics at UCL and work from its Art Museum.

This project was a collaboration between artist and collection, and shed light on some of the unique work taking place at Art Museum. It was an experiment in how to engage with a stored collection, drawing inspiration from works that aren't usually on public display. 

The show examined the mental state of regret - its link to depression and neuroscience. It also investigated how it is expressed in art, music and language. Is there a cultural system of regret that also effects whole societies and countries – what happens when we all regret together?

Gornick’s first full-length live drawing show was about her Grandma Ray, an East End cockney who sometimes went posh, with whom she shared a family secret. This was performed at The Gilded Balloon, during the Edinburgh Fringe and at the Soho Theatre in London amongst other venues.
