What is Creating Connections?

Creating Connections is organised by the Public Engagement Unit, Volunteering Services and one or more partner organisations. It’s designed to bring UCL staff and postgrads together with social enterprises, residents’ groups, charities and other community organisations.

The events provide the opportunity to discover previous projects that have worked well, and discuss new ideas that could make a real difference.

There is also an East London spin-off called Creating Connections East, run in partnership with University of East London and Newham Borough Council.

Creating Connections is a regular networking event that brings together UCL staff and postgraduate students with London’s wider community and voluntary sectors. The aim is very simple – to explore ways of working together with mutual benefit.

How do I get involved in Creating Connections?

If you have an idea for how UCL and London’s communities can work more closely together, please contact the engagement team by emailing publicengagement@ucl.ac.uk
