Interview with Cosmoparticle PhD Student Nicolas Angelides following Sanford URF Award

4 September 2019

Nicolas talks about his early life, the artistic influences that inspired him, and how he came to graduate with a master’s degree in theoretical physics at the age of 20

Nicolas Angelides

Nicolas was interviewed for the Sanford Underground Research Facility’s news section, following his citizenship award for LZ dark matter collaboration. The published article ‘The experimental art of particle physics: Physicist Nicolas Angelides is first and foremost an artist’, is all about how Nicolas combines his love for art and science, and his passion for outreach work.

We want to understand where we are living, what we are touching and interacting with and hopefully help people along the way. We could move toward a more energy efficient future, become more aware about the stars and the galaxy and how we can expand civilization. Who knows”
